This hotel has a stunning exterior that really catches the eye, but the overall experience didn't quite meet expectations. The staff seemed indifferent at times, and the lack of amenities specifically for families was a letdown. However, the rooms were comfortable, and the free shuttle service to local attractions was a nice touch. It’s a decent choice if you’re looking for a lively atmosphere, but don't expect it to be kid-friendly.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms were clean and spacious, providing a comfortable space to unwind, though some needed more attention to detail.
Service
5.0
Service was a mixed bag; while some staff were helpful, the overall responsiveness could improve, especially for families.
Location
8.0
It was conveniently located near attractions, making it easy to explore the area, but could be noisy at times, especially with event setups early in the morning.
Dining
6.0
Dining options were somewhat limited, with a single restaurant that was fine but didn't stand out. However, the prices felt fair for what was offered.
Facilities

The pool area was beautiful, though the space felt crowded at times due to day visitors. It’s great for lounging but may not be ideal for a quieter experience.

I had an amazing time during my stays at The Scott, with exceptional service and a beautifully renovated property. The cleanliness and maintenance of the hotel stood out, and being just a short drive from Old Town Scottsdale added to the experience. However, my enjoyment was slightly marred by a rather unsettling encounter with a staff member that left me feeling uncomfortable.

The hotel is a lovely space with comfortable, remodeled rooms and a perfect balcony for morning coffee. The staff is exceptionally attentive and the bar and pool areas create a wonderful social atmosphere. However, I found the dining options to be just average and not aligned with a resort-quality experience. Despite these drawbacks, the overall vibe was delightful.

Rooms

Our room was beautifully remodeled, clean, and very comfortable, especially with a lovely view overlooking the pool area.
Service

The service was above-and-beyond, with staff always eager to help and something as simple as carrying my luggage up the stairs.
Location

The location was fantastic, just minutes from Old Town Scottsdale, which made exploring local shops and dining a breeze.
Dining
6.0
While the food was decent, it didn't quite meet my expectations for a resort, with menu options that felt a bit limited.

The Scott has a vibrant atmosphere and offers a stylish setting for a getaway. While my room was spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable, the overall service left something to be desired, especially at the bar. The pool areas were lovely but seemed crowded at times, particularly during busy weekends. Additionally, the hotel seemed more suited for lively groups than for families, which made our stay a bit less relaxing than expected.

Rooms
8.0
The room was spacious and had the most comfortable bed of our trip to Arizona. However, the view overlooked the parking lot which was less than ideal.
Service
6.0
The service at the bar was a bit underwhelming; the staff didn’t seem very enthusiastic. However, other services like housekeeping were friendly and responsive.
Location
7.0
The location is nice, but it felt more geared towards young partygoers than families. It’s still close to various attractions, making it convenient for exploring.
Dining
7.0
We didn’t eat much at the hotel, but the drinks were fine. I heard the dining options offered delicious food, even if it was a bit on the pricier side.
Facilities
7.0
The pool areas were beautiful, but there seemed to be a struggle for loungers with many guests. More attention could be paid to reserving space for hotel guests only.

I had an amazing stay at The Scott Resort! The atmosphere is truly enchanting, with beautiful decor and a cozy ambiance throughout the property. The service was exceptional, though I did encounter an issue with the honor bar that was a little frustrating. The location is perfect for exploring Scottsdale, and the various relaxation spots around the resort really added to the experience.

Rooms
8.0
Our room was spacious with comfy robes and quality toiletries, but some rooms face the parking lot, which might be less appealing.
Service
9.0
The staff was phenomenal, going out of their way to ensure our comfort, but I felt some could use a bit more training.
Location
9.0
The location is ideal, just a short ride from Old Town Scottsdale, making it convenient for exploring the area.
Dining

The food was delightful at The Canal Club, especially the unique breakfast options; however, the restaurant's opening time could be more accommodating.
Facilities

The amenities were diverse with beautiful pools and relaxation areas, but I felt the lounge chairs could use some upgrades.
